Cheerios Cereal Box - Hanna Barbera Space Kidettes - General Mills Cereal Box 1960s

Dating from 1965, this Cheerios Cereal Box features a “TV star action picture” cutout for SPACE KIDETTES, a short lived, Hanna Barbera TV production about a group of pre-teen space rangers. Text on the back of the cereal box explains "Lost on an unknown planet, zillions of miles from home, our SPACE KIDETTES have been trapped in the cave of four armed Molemen!" The story goes on to give our young heroes names; Scooter, Countdown, Jennie Jet, Snoopy, and their space puppy, Pup Star." This rare collectible box is a must for all advanced Hanna Barbera and cereal box collectors who think Wacky Racers was General Mills's first Hanna Barbera breakfast cereal promotion. Large, 10.5 ounce size package is missing all its cereal box top and bottom flaps (see photo). The entire rectangular measures roughly 20" by 10.5".
